WWE Raw onsite report: Details on what happened with Triple H, John Cena, and Legacy after the show went off the air
Jul 21, 2009 - 09:24 AM |
Dot Net reader Jonathan Carbo attended Monday's WWE Raw in Raleigh, N.C. and filed the following report.
Huge crowd. Almost completely sold out. Only a very small part of the third deck behind the camera was tarped off. It was also the loudest crowd I had been a part of since probably 1999-2000, or so. They were hot for everything. Even Mark Henry got a pretty large pop.
During commercials, we just got a lot of WrestleMania DVD, Tribute to the Troops, and ad videos like that. There was also a kiss cam.
After the show went off the air, Randy Orton got the mic and said he wanted a re-match right now. John Cena played to the crowd before Cena and Triple H accepted. So Legacy got in the ring. However, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase bailed out, leaving Orton to get a FU, and Pedigree(twice). Then Triple H shook hands with the fans around ringside as everyone left.
Biggest Pops
1. Cena easily
2. Triple H
3. Evan Bourne (seriously)
Most Heat
1. Orton
2. Jericho
3. George Bush on the TitanTron during the Tribute to the Troops video.
