WWE notes: Jeff Hardy isn't scheduled for a September tour, Rey Mysterio working main event matches
Jul 8, 2009 - 08:54 AM |
WWE has issued partial lineups for their Sept. 25-27 tour of France. Jeff Hardy, whose contract is expiring soon, is not advertised for the tour. Meanwhile, C.M. Punk is scheduled to work against Rey Mysterio twice in three nights in the main event slot. The tour features one night in Nice, and two nights in Paris. [Thanks to Jeremy Chevallier of Lutte.fnnation.com.
Powell's POV: I don't want to read too much into Hardy not being advertised for the tour, as there's a chance he is simply taking time off. However, given all the buzz regarding his likely hiatus once hi contract expires, the fact that he's not included on a new house show lineup is noteworthy. Of course, he could always be added to the tour if he opts to re-sign with WWE. For what it's worth, Hardy is advertised for the Sept. 1 house show in Cleveland.
