The top level non-camera side of the building is tarped off. The cage is already hanging from the ceiling (for the Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho and Edge main event).

Dark Match

1. Drew McIntyre defeated Jamie Noble. This match opened the overall show. The ECW and WWE Superstars taping took place after the dark match.

WWE Smackdown taping

Mr. McMahon put Smackdown general manager Teddy Long on probation.

1. R-Truth pinned Shelton Benjamin.

2. Michelle McCool and Alicia Fox pinned Melina and Gail Kim.

3. John Morrison pinned C.M. Punk in a non-title match.

4. Edge and Chris Jericho defeated Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio in a steel cage match. Jeff Hardy gave cage match referee C.M. Punk a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb to close the show.
