WWE Raw star reportedly suffers an injury that will require surgery
Jun 23, 2009 - 02:22 PM |
Matt Hardy suffered a torn abdominal muscle on Monday, according to the Wrestling Observer website. The story notes that he suffered the injury during the three-way match that was taped for WWE Superstars with Kofi Kingston and MVP. He is slated to undergo surgery next week. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Gerardo Rodriguez]
Powell's POV: Tough break for Hardy, who worked through a broken hand and had just received a clean bill of health. There's no word on how long he'll be out of action. He has not officially acknowledged the injury on his Twitter page, but did note that he is "looking forward to getting through this week."
