WWE "The Bash" pay-per-view lineup: Seven matches announced for Sunday's pay-per-view and new stipulations for one of the main event matches
Jun 23, 2009 - 09:53 AM

The following matches have been announced for Sunday's WWE "The Bash" pay-per-view in Sacramento, Calif.

-C.M. Punk vs. Jeff Hardy for the World Hvt. Championship.

-Randy Orton vs. Triple H for the WWE Title in a Three Stages of Hell match.

-Tommy Dreamer vs. Jack Swagger vs. Christian vs. Mark Henry vs. Finlay in a scramble match for the ECW Title.

-Melina vs. Michelle McCool for the WWE Women's Championship.

-John Cena vs. The Miz.

-Carlito and Primo vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase for the Unified Tag Titles.

Powell's POV: Vince McMahon announced on Monday's Raw that Hunter is challenging Orton in a Three Stages of Hell match. The first fall will be a typical wrestling match, the second fall will be a falls count anywhere match, and the final fall (if necessary) will be a stretcher match. The card looks good on paper, but I don't think WWE promoted the show strongly enough to draw a strong buyrate.
