Dot Net reader Ethan Stark attended Monday's WWE Raw in Charlotte, N.C. and filed the following report.

They didn’t open the doors until 7:00 p.m., and things got started at about 7:35. There were no dark matches, but there was a match for Superstars before Raw went live between Santino Marella and Chavo Guerrero. (Editor's note: See the main page for the match spoiler).

Everyone was thinking Ric Flair would become the new general manager. When Vince McMahon made the announcement that he was not naming a new GM, the crowd was disappointed. We were even more disappointed with the “Raw has a new owner” bit. You got it right about the whole crowd groaning at the announcement of Donald Trump becoming the Raw owner. Another disappointing moment.

We had no idea that the fatal four-way would take place in the first hour. When I got home I noticed the clock counting down to the match but in the arena we didn’t have a clue. There were a lot of people running back to their seats from the concession stands when Randy Orton’ s music hit at roughly 8:35.

Big pop for John Cena, a few boos when he came to the ring, but the pop for Triple H was even bigger.

After Raw went dark, Triple H played to the crowd and threw his elbow pads into the crowd. Apparently a little boy got hit in the head by someone going for one of the pads and was crying. When Triple H saw this he went down, picked up the boy and brought him into the ring. They both posed for the crowd, then Triple H took him back to his seat, and shook hands with fans at ringside to close the show.

Overall a fun time, the Donald Trump announcement didn’t go over at all.
