Dot Net reader Jonathan Nave attended the WWE Smackdown taping in Biloxi, Miss. and passed along the following notes.

Dark Match

1. Jeff Hardy and C.M. Punk beat Edge and Chris Jericho in a cage match. Very weak cage! When they ran into it, the cage split in half! It took less than five minutes for the ring crew to hook up, though.

After the dark/bonus match, each wrestler left the cage individually to pops. When Chris Jericho stepped out of the cage, a fan threw a drink at him that missed him by about a foot! The rent-a-security team found the guy and tried to take him to the back, but he started resisting. Then two WWE security guys came in put the man on his rear! Pretty funny as they arrested the man... Edge was still in the ring (as Jericho left) and said to clap for the "biggest tool in Biloxi."

Notes

-No graphic was displayed after the main event, so I'm not sure if it'll be Edge vs. Punk on Monday. Although Teddy agreed with Jericho about being in the title picture, the words were never said that he would be in the match either, just that he should be in the hunt. It may turn into a fatal four-way or triple threat before Monday. Edge did win the match via DQ because Punk attacked him.

CM Punk is a tweener right now. It just depends on who he's wrestling on how the crowd reacts. I do see him turning heel in the near future based on the remarks he made tonight.

Kind of humbling being in the arena tonight. When Katrina hit, the water was almost five feet IN the Coliseum! It's about one mile from the beach and although it stood for the most part, the water was almost 15 feet high outside the arena.
