Dot Net reader C.J. Fox attended the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view in New Orleans and filed the following report.

Dark Match

1. Kelly Kelly and Mickie James beat Beth Phoenix and Rosa.

Notes

Umaga vs. C.M. Punk was a "go get concessions and use the restroom" match.

John Cena, Batista, Jeff Hardy, and all the faces got good pops, also heels Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy got good pops.

Randy Orton and Edge got mixed reactions.

All of the matches except the Hog Pen match were well received. The crowd was flat for that one.

As soon as C.M. Punk's music hit for him to cash in MITB there was instant heat. (possible heel turn?)

As far as anything else, not much to report. The crowd was well-behaved and no incidents occurred to my knowledge.

It wasn't a sellout, but very close. Most people there bought tickets within the week proceeding the event.
