Ric Flair says he believes he will wrestle again overseas, says WWE doesn't mind him appearing for Ring of Honor

Ric Flair played the Brett Favre card during an interview with the AP while talking about his career. "If Brett Favre can come back once in a while, I certainly can," Flair said. Regarding a possible return to the ring, Flair added: "I would like to, but I'm not going to do anything to rock the boat. I'm in the same kind of shape I was last year when I retired. It's hard to stay away from something you like so well, especially when you still feel like you can do it. If I did wrestle, it would be overseas, it wouldn't be here.''
Flair also stated that WWE officials don't mind him making appearances for Ring of Honor. "They don't look at Ring of Honor as being competition to them,'' he said. "If everybody just focuses on their own brand and what they're trying to accomplish instead of worrying about the other guy, it usually works out much more better.'' Powell's POV: As previously noted, Flair is negotiating to headline an overseas wrestling tour. The article obviously served as good publicity for Ring of Honor even though WWE was also mentioned. Flair will be appearing for ROH at tomorrow night's television taping in Philadelphia, Pa. If you are attending the show and can file a report, contact me at dotnetjason@gmail.com.
