WWE Raw onsite report: Batista cut during the dark match main event, more details from Monday's Raw show (no spoilers)
May 12, 2009 - 09:38 AM

Dot Net reader Angela Rhoades attended Monday's WWE Raw in Columbus, Oh. and filed the following report.

Dark Match

1. Sheamus O'Shaunessy defeated Jamie Noble. I was buying merchandise when this match started. It seemed like everyone in the arena hated Jamie Noble.

The WWE Superstars match was taped.

WWE Raw Notes

Raw was better than I expected it to be. The crowd was loud all night. They were even loud for the Jamie Noble match. Everyone loved Batista and almost everyone loved John Cena. There weren't many people booing him, so that was surprising to me. No one liked Randy Orton, but they hated Vickie more. I would have to say that the biggest pops of the night were for John Cena and Batista. The most heat was definitely for Vickie, Chavo, and Randy Orton.

Dark Match Main Event

1. John Cena and Batista def. Randy Orton and Big Show. This was a different main event than the other two they said they were having, but it was pretty good. John Cena was back to his old self. Randy still faked his ankle injury from Raw. At the end of the match, Batista came back in the ring and we could see that he had blood all over his face. I'm guessing he got cut above his left eye.

I'm not sure if he would need stitches or not, but there was a lot of blood. He didn't stay in the ring to celebrate with John Cena, so I'm guessing he had to get his cut checked out backstage. John Cena stayed out there and celebrated with the fans for a while. I don't care who loves him or hates him, I have to admit that he is just a really nice person.

We are still looking for onsite reports regarding last night's Raw, and reports from tonight's WWE Smackdown tapings. Send all WWE, TNA, and ROH reports to dotnetjason@gmail.com.
