She defeated by Icelandic Glima Wrestling Association women’s champion Svana Hronn Johannsdottir three falls to two. Dot Net reader David Jonsson of Iceland writes: “She arrived on Sunday and has been taking in all the regular tourist activities, including the Golden circle and the Blue Lagoon... Professional wrestling is not well known in Iceland. One cannot see WWE on TV here, but Trish has still received media attention and is being introduced as the best female pro wrestler in the U.S.” Powell’s POV: I assumed Trish would return to the wrestling eventually, but I never thought her first match back would take place place on a hard wooden surface in Iceland.
