Kurt Angle has been telling friends that he is seriously considering the idea of returning to WWE once his contract expires next fall. Angle has even gone so far as to state that he would leave TNA and return to work for WWE if he had to make the decisions now.

Powell's POV: Angle is unhappy with the creative direction of the company and does not have much faith in Jeff Jarrett's lead. He's been vocal regarding his frustration with creative both publicly and during conversations with Dixie Carter, and the feeling of observers is that this is all leading toward a power struggle between Angle and Jarrett.

WWE officials would welcome Angle back to the company despite the negative things he said about his experience when he left two years ago. As previously reported, WWE would put Kurt on a limited schedule similar to those of Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. The obvious concern is whether Angle would have any Wellness Policy issues given his past problems with prescription pills.
