Dot Net WWE News - WWE offers a lengthy deal to a top superstar

Randy Orton has been telling friends that WWE offered him a 10-year contract. No word yet on whether Orton has agreed to the deal.
Powell's POV: WWE is trying to sign Rey Mysterio to a five-year deal and now they are trying to keep Orton around for twice as long. I'm not sure what the motivation is to re-sign the wrestlers to such long deals when TNA appears to be the only other option, but the fact that WWE is trying to ink Orton to such a long deal says a lot about their perception of him as a performer.
