WWE News: John Cena taken to a hospital for evaluation of his injured knee
Feb 25, 2014 - 12:25 AM |
A WWE trainer stated on the Raw Backstage Pass broadcast that John Cena suffered a knee injury and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. However, the trainer stated that Cena was refusing to have an MRI.
Meanwhile, a WWE website story states that while the nature of the injury was not determined following the WWE medical staff's evaluation, they felt some "instability and swelling" in his knee. Read more on the story at WWE.com.
Powell's POV: The trainer stated that Cena felt his knee shift when he was in the ring with The Wyatt Family. Here's hoping it was simply a minor hyperextension and not something more serious. We will obviously pass along any additional updates.
