WWE bringing back a former star
By Jason Powell Nov 20, 2008 - 04:23 PM |
|
WWE has re-signed Dustin Runnels (a/k/a Dustin Rhodes, Goldust) according to his booking agent Bill Behrens, who writes for Wrestlezone.com. Rhodes faxed his signed contract back to the WWE headquarters, but has not been given a start date.
Powell's POV: Runnels is expected to end up on the Raw brand, as head writer Brian Gewirtz has always been a fan of the Goldust character. Look for him to play a comedic role rather than the risque role that made him famous during his first run with the company.
