WWE News: Former WWE star reaches out to NBA player Lamar Odom concerning his drug addiction
Oct 3, 2013 - 01:44 PM |
Former WWE star X-Pac (a/k/a Sean Waltman) tweeted that he reached out to NBA player Lamar Odom after reading a TMZ report where Odom said he could beat addiction without rehab. Waltman tweeted, "No one can win a battle if they're unable to know their enemy. Without rehab Odom is bringing a knife to a gun fight vs. addiction. I reached out to Lamar Odum to let him know it's like going to school for addictionology. You will learn how to save your life." [edited for clarity] You can read more at http://fansided.com/2013/10/03/former-wwe-superstar-x-pac-reached-lamar-odom/.
Shore's Slant: Classy move by Waltman to reach out to Odom having been through all that he has been through. For those who might say Waltman should have kept it off Twitter, sometimes you have to publicly embarrass someone before they will see their self-destructive behavior.
