9/6 WWE Smackdown TV preview: The lineup for tonight's television show (no spoilers)
Sep 6, 2013 - 03:05 PM

The following matches were taped on Tuesday in Minneapolis, Minnesota for tonight's WWE Smackdown television show.

-Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam in a non-title match.

-Dolph Ziggler vs. Ryback.

-Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs. Kofi Kingston in a non-title match.

-Brie Bella vs. Naomi.

-Jimmy and Jey Uso vs. Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.

-Big Show vs. Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, and Jinder Mahal in a handicap match.

-Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins.

Powell's POV: Smackdown opens with Triple H hosting a town hall meeting during which he encouraged the wrestlers to speak their minds. I attended the taping on Tuesday night and it was an entertaining show and I assume that will carry over to television. Jake Barnett will have live coverage of WWE Smackdown as the show airs on Syfy on tonight at 7:00 p.m. CT. Jake will team up with Chris Shore on Saturday for their weekly All Access audio review of Smackdown.
