Brock Lesnar discusses his pill and alcohol consumption during his WWE days, walks out on the interview when he's confronted about steroids
Oct 22, 2008 - 02:07 PM |
Brock Lesnar was featured on the ESPN:60 show on Tuesday night. He revealed that he'd never watched pro wrestling before WWE approached him with a $250,000 contract offer. He noted that he tore both of his knees, suffered severe neck and back pain, and worked through a torn MCL because he just became WWE Champion. "It's like two years that I don't remember of my life," Lesnar said. He explained that he consumed vodka and pain pills to maintain his schedule.
Lesnar bowed out of the interview when the interviewer asked him about steroids. He laughed and walked off the set. He was shown telling the interviewer that he's never failed a steroid test. To view the segment, visit ESPN.Go.com.
Powell's POV: Good feature that includes comments from Dana White, Bill Goldberg, and Bret Hart. I'd like to see the full footage of the interview to see what led up to Lesnar walking out. I'm sure he's been asked about the topic in the past, so I'd be surprised if he just bolted the first moment the subject was brought up.
