Dot Net WWE News: Reid Flair training for WWE debut, but do WWE officials want him?
Oct 22, 2008 - 10:05 AM |
Ric Flair mentioned in a recent interview that he believes his son Reid is roughly a year away from debuting in WWE. Ric even went so far as to say that he might end up in his corner. However, WWE officials are not keen on the idea of hiring Flair's youngest son.
The feeling within WWE is that Reid has a lot of growing up to do. "He has a lot of maturity issues and he's had them his whole life," noted one source. The source also stated that Reid has had a number of behavioral issues over the years and while the company would love to feature the son of the Nature Boy, the feeling is that he would be more trouble than he's worth.
Powell's POV: I still wouldn't be surprised if WWE gives Reid a chance at some point if they believe they can make money promoting him, but it sounds like he has to make some changes before they'll seriously consider the idea.
