Jim Ross comments on the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame, a WWE wrestler who is impressing him, offers constructive criticism for the WWE Raw broadcast team

-Ross on the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame: "My only take on the 2014 WWE HOF, that will take place in New Orleans, is that it should not, in my personal opinion, have more than two posthumous inductees. One would be ideal for me but two is my personal, limit."
Powell's POV: All signs point to Bill Moody (a/k/a Paul Bearer) being inducted posthumously, especially considering his ties to the Southeast. Aside from the very deserving Moody, I have no clue who will get the nod next year.
-Ross on a WWE wrestler who is impressing him: "Very impressed with the recent work of @DamienSandow. he's really evolving on the mic and his aggression inside the ring when timely is noticeable. Another driven talent who re-invented himself in NXT after a somewhat inauspicious tenure in with another persona."
Powell's POV: I wholeheartedly agree with Ross on this assessment. Sandow is a blast on the mic and I enjoy his in-ring work. Here's hoping creative starts to give him some love rather than using him as a fall guy to the stars.
-Ross with constructive criticism of the Raw broadcast team: "Happy that @MichaelCole has added @JCLayfield to the Raw broadcast team along with mainstay @JerryLawler but I wish that JBL and the King would engage each other with a little more debate in a timely fashion. I can envision the 'tense moments' that could occur between the talkative Texan and one of the greatest talkers ever in the biz to be great assets to an already talented trio. BTW...check out the @LayfieldReport."
Powell's POV: I wish the trio would spend less time humoring themselves and more time focussed on calling the actual matches. That said, it's always possible that this is how they are being produced and obviously they have to do as they are told. Last week, the announcing of the first half of the Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes match was a tell. I never had any doubt that Orton was going over because the announcers were clowning around, whereas they likely would have been more engaged if they knew Rhodes was going over or there was a real story to tell.
