WWE Video: Rock's mother comments on whether he will wrestle again Apr 23, 2013 - 03:08 PM
Ata Johnson, the mother of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, spoke with Arda Ocal of The Layfield Report during the Cauliflower Alley Club reunion event in Las Vegas last week and was asked whether he will return to pro wrestling. "I would hope to see him again many more times," she said. "But that's me, I'm not the boss. I hope to see him again. I know everybody wants to see him again. Wrestling is in his blood so I have a feeling he will always come back." View the full interview at LayfieldReport.com.
Powell's POV: Ata also spoke about the overall experience of WrestleMania 29, her son's match with John Cena, Rock informing her that he was going back to WWE, and the abdominal injury he suffered. She noted at the time that he did not need surgery. However, Rock announced on Twitter earlier today that he did undergo successful surgery.
