WrestleMania 29 onsite report: Notes on the live crowd's reaction to Dolph Ziggler not cashing in his MITB contract, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter's entrance
Apr 8, 2013 - 10:07 AM

Dot Net reader John Paduhovic attended WrestleMania 29 on Sunday and sent the following report.

-I graded the pay-per-view as as disappointing in the poll. There were a lot of cheers after The Miz match, but nothing really during the match.

-I was happy The Shield won but I was looking forward to the Randy Orton heel turn, but it was good match. The Shield didn't get a too loud of reaction but my section started a "Let's go Ambrose" chant.

-Mark Henry got a decent pop for the surprise ending, but I don't think anyone gained anything from the match.

-There isn't much to mention about the short tag title match other than a few close near falls.

-The most disappointing match was with Fandango winning with the simple roll up. After the match, Chris Jericho played to the crowd by acting shocked after the loss.

-P Diddy got a decent pop but nothing too impressive.

-Jack Swagger driving the little cart whipping around the corners was funny. The stadium erupted with boos after the match because of no Dolph Ziggler and didn't stop until almost the next match.

-The match of the night despite the poor storytelling in the build was Undertaker vs. C.M..

-Triple H and Brock Lesnar was not nearly as good as expected and personally I felt it had the wrong outcome. Hunter has nothing left to prove in the company and this was the perfect time to hang up the boots and work behind the scenes.

-I don't know how it came through the television, but there were a lot of boos for The Rock as well as John Cena. It had a predictable outcome with the same ending as Rock and Hulk Hogan with each other hugging and raising each others hands in respect. I was highly disappointed in the show, but things might turn around at the hotel because my fiancee's main guy won the WWE Championship.
