The following are among the highlights. -Ross on whether Vince McMahon would bring in an orchestra for WrestleMania: “How in the blue hell would I know (the answer) to that question? I mean really, how? Mr. McMahon likes it best when I don’t have any lengthy conversations with him and I do my best to accommodate his wishes. Powell’s POV: Good answer. -Ross on why Bobby Lashley was released: Lashley wanted out and no one can be forced to stay if they don’t want to be there. This is a better question for Bobby to answer. Powell’s POV: Unfortunately, there is speculation that Lashley signed a confidentiality agreement as part of his release. -Ross on whether he knows where Smackdown will land: “No, sir, but it won’t go homeless.” Powell’s POV: J.R. either wrote some of his responses before today or he missed the press release. Smackdown struck a deal with MyNetworkTV. -On a possible Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar MMA match: “Don’t think that can’t happen. Is it a long shot? Possibly.
