WWE Smackdown TV viewership: Did "Social Media Smackdown" produce more viewers?

Friday's WWE Smackdown averaged 2.818 million viewers, down from the 2.89 million viewers from the previous week, according to Zap2It.com. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Darius Malcisky]
Powell's POV: In other words, the Social Media Smackdown hype led to a slightly smaller audience than last week. We hope to have the actual Smackdown rating later today.
