Jim Ross reveals which broadcasters will call WWE Smackdown this week, and provides an update on Todd Grisham
Sep 29, 2008 - 09:59 AM

Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights.

-Ross on the announcing situation for WWE Smackdown's debut on MyNetwork TV: "From what I hear, Tazz and yours truly will be handling the entire broadcast which always seemed to be to be a no brainer to me considering that we are the regular hosts on Friday Night Smackdown last time I looked. The WWE fans in the Green Bay area are apparently in a for a big night this Tuesday."

Powell's POV: Happy to hear it. I was concerned that WWE was going to bring in all the broadcast teams since all three brands will be represented.

-Ross on Todd Grisham: "It will be good to see Todd Grisham back at his post on ECW this week. Todd had a horribly challenging week last week and our thoughts and prayers have been with Todd and his family through the ordeal."

Powell's POV: Grisham lost a member of his immediate family last week, but apparently he'll be back on the job on Tuesday night for the ECW taping.

Other topics include Oklahoma's big win on Saturday night, WWE making big money overseas.
