WWE News: Chris Jericho to host new television show
Nov 20, 2012 - 11:43 AM |
WWE star Chris Jericho will host the Robot Combat League television series that will debut on Syfy network on February 26. "Here's the major project I told you about," Jericho wrote on Twitter. For more on the story, visit Insidetv.ew.com/2012/11/20/robot-combat-league/.
Powell's POV: Jericho is following in the footsteps of Mick Foley, who hosted the Robot Wars television show on Spike TV in 2003-04. However, the bots appear to have come a long way since then and actually look more like those used in the movie "Real Steal" based on the photos that accompany the EW story. The fact that the show will air on Syfy rather than a non-NBC Universal network can't hurt Jericho's relationship with WWE.
