WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin comments on whether an offer has been made for a C.M. Punk match, and his surgically repaired knee Nov 15, 2012 - 10:12 AM
WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin spoke with Arda Ocal of The Score and was asked about his surgically repaired knee. "The wheel is doing good. I had ACL and PCL tissue grafted in from donor tissue on July 2. Things are going great. My knee feels outstanding. I'm climbing in and out of deer stands. If you saw me walking on the street you'd never know it had surgery." He noted that it would take roughly three or four months of rehab work.
Austin was asked whether an offer has been presented by WWE for a match with C.M. Punk. "No, no, but obviously that is a match that a lot of people talk about seeing," Austin said.
Austin was asked whether it bothers him that C.M. Punk is featured on WWE '13 when the game has so much Attitude Era content. "Oh, no, it doesn't bother me at all," he said. "They did the right thing... You've got to bank on your current superstars." You can view the interview at Youtube.com/embed/ksSmhedffcY.
Powell's POV: Austin also spoke about why he never worked with Hulk Hogan, Redneck Island 2, comments he's made about Sheamus in the past, and more. It's a very good 14-minute interview that's worth taking the time to watch.
