No report filed regarding alleged Jeff Hardy incident with Nashville International Airport
Sep 18, 2008 - 09:47 AM

Jeff Hardy was reportedly removed from his flight on Wednesday morning in Nashville, Tenn, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. Hardy was reportedly observed walking with his brother Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms while being escorted by several police officers in the airport on Tuesday morning.

Nashville International Airport spokesperson Emily Richard told Prowrestling.net on Wednesday night that she was not aware of an incident involving Hardy. She called back this morning and stated that no report pertaining to Hardy had been filed with the airport. Attempts to reach Jeff Hardy for comment were unsuccessful.

Powell's POV: Odd story. There was no buzz about Jeff's condition amongst people who saw him and Matt shortly before they boarded their plane on Wednesday morning. I was told that a number of WWE performers went out Tuesday night after the Smackdown tapings to enjoy the Nashville nightlife, but I haven't heard any unusual reports regarding Hardy's behavior that night.

One former colleague, who was told by friends that there was an incident involving Hardy on Wednesday morning at the airport, speculated that the incident could have been medical. I will continue to follow this story and will pass along any updates as news warrants.
