Jim Ross reveals two big matches for Friday's WWE Smackdown, the legend who is coaching Jack Swagger
Sep 17, 2008 - 12:13 PM

Jim Ross updated the blog section of JRsbarbq.com. The following items are among the highlights.

-Ross on Jack Swagger: "ECW’s Jack Swagger is being coached up by Arn Anderson. Nice. The former OU star couldn’t have a better 'tutor.'

Powell's POV: That's encouraging news. Swagger has all the physical tools and has shown some charisma early.

-Ross on Friday's WWE Smackdown: "Friday Night Smackdown featured a couple of strong multi-segment bouts, including Jeff Hardy vs THE Brian Kendrick and an old school bout between Triple H and MVP. Plus there was a major upset on the show and an obligatory Tennessee Titans’ QB Vince Young joke or two.

Powell's POV: Please say the major upset is MVP over Triple H. I haven't read the Smackdown spoilers and I doubt that's the case, but a man can dream. Nothing against Hunter, I just want to see MVP get the push he deserves.

Other topics include the economic impact of Charlie Haas spoofing Ross on Raw, the South Carolina Gamecocks name accidentally edited on his site (funny).
