NFL player explains why he thought of Triple H after suffering a year ending injury

Washing Redskin defensive end Adam Carriker told Chuck Carroll of 4th and Pain that he thought of Triple H as he lie on the field after suffering a season ending quadriceps tear on Sunday, saying, “I’m laying there on the turf at the Edward Jones Dome and there’s one thing going through my mind and it’s the image of Triple H tearing his quad tendon off his knee in the ring." Shore's Slant: As the Article points out, Triple H tore one quad in 2001 and the other in 2007. The good news for Carrick is that Triple H came back from both injuries.
