WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson visited Jerry Lawler in the hospital and passed along the following comments to the WWE website. "When I walked in there and he saw me in the window, he had a big smile on his face. He was very happy,” Patterson said.

"One of the doctors came by and wanted to take him to a different room for tests. Jerry had no problem getting out of bed and getting into a wheelchair. His sense of humor is there, I made him laugh. Powell's POV: Now that we know Lawler still has his sense of humor, one can only hope that Patterson gave him some friendly grief over upstaging the "Pat Patterson Appreciation Night" ceremony that was postponed due to The King's heart attack on Monday.
