-Edge's hiatus is not expected to last long. A well-placed source noted that while he wasn't aware of Edge's specific return date, he expects him to be back sometime before the Survivor Series.

-Don't be surprised if WWE makes a big pitch to bring back Christian Cage. "He'd be at the top of my list (of TNA free agents)," said one WWE official. Cage's contract with TNA reportedly expires soon.

Powell's POV: Edge has a DVD coming out in November, according to Amazon.com, so it's only logical to assume he'll be around to promote it. He simply needed a break to let some nagging injuries heal. An Edge and Christian reunion could be in the works, but only if Christian is ready to give up the TNA schedule. Obviously, Edge and Christian could also feud against one another if creative chose to go in that direction.
