WWE Smackdown rating: How did the go home show for SummerSlam do in the ratings?

WWE Smackdown earned a 1.92 rating for the August 17 show, up from last week's 1.89 rating, but a peculiarity of the rating system shows that the show averaged 2.61 million viewers, down from last week's 2.73 million viewers.
Shore's Slant: Ratings are determined as a percentage share of total households watching. In other words, WWE had more eyes on their product as a percentage of the whole (thus the ratings increase) but had fewer total eyes on the show because fewer total eyes were watching TV. Yes, I know it's a pain in the ass.
