Dot Net reader Doug Porter attended the WWE SummerSlam Axxess event on Saturday and sent the following notes.

It was a hot hot hot day on Saturday during the WWE Summerslam Axxess at the Nokia Center. The crowd seemed fairly large, not over 1,000 but at times it seemed larger than 500. There were very few shaded areas and there was no water provided so many people were fainting or collapsing which made extra work for the EMT's. It was a great turn out of Superstars, the biggest lines of non-vip's going to R-Truth/Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Kelly Kelly.

There was a weird system in place where some stars were only doing photos and some were only doing signatures (don't know why they did it that way). This actually seemed to visibly anger a few of the superstars who would just do something anyways.

The live matches were uneventful (Alex Riley vs. Jinder Mahal, The Uso's vs. Prime Time Playas) but entertaining nonetheless. The MC of the show gave out prizes all day to both adults and kids using trivia games and sumo wrestling. There were Q&A's with AJ, Christian, and Santino Marella. Tamina, and Kaitlyn hosted the sumo matches. All in all a fun time but they need to figure something out next year as far as the no shade or water thing.
