Dot Net Exclusive Notes: MVP comment leads to heat, Mr. Kennedy's WWE future in question

-MVP upset members of WWE management recently by making a derogatory comment to one of the testers who watches the WWE performers while they submit urine samples. His comment inspired WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis to indirectly address the matter in locker room meeting. Laurinaitis instructed talent to be respectful of the testers. Those who were aware of the MVP story felt it was obvious that the meeting was held because of his incident.

-A source who is tight with Ken Kennedy believes there could be something to the speculation that the company will release him once his current contract expires. Kennedy has lost his confidence and is constantly being pulled in different directions by various members of management, which caused him to lose confidence and second guess himself.

Powell's POV: MVP is said to be getting the cold shoulder from some management officials over the incident. Likewise, he wasn't happy that Ace made a fuss over the situation. One can only assume that this will blow over quickly. By the way, how can you not have some fun at the expense of men who watch other men piss in a cup for a living?

I'd still be stunned if WWE released Kennedy. They can still add time to his contract because they have the right to extend deals when talent misses time due to injury. The confidence issue is a factor and he might actually benefit from leaving the company and getting his career back on track elsewhere, but I just can't see WWE officials being foolish enough to give up on him even though his stock is definitely down right now.

That being said, I could see Kennedy throwing up his arms and leaving the company on his own if he's frustrated enough with the politics and mind games. He'd be a great addition to the TNA roster, but that's just my opinion and there are no indications that he's even considering such a move. It's worth noting that he has a WWE Films movie Behind Enemy Lines coming out early next year, so one can only assume that WWE won't be getting rid of him before then.
