WWE News: Raw ratings get mainstream media coverage in NY Times blog
Jul 25, 2012 - 05:50 PM |
The "Arts Beat" blog of the the NY Times site today features a post about the ratings for this Monday's 100th episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw. The story notes this was the largest audience in 10 years, and that 3.1 million of the 4.9 million who watched were in the advertiser's "most-important" 18-49 year old demographic. You can read the short post at http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/07/25/wrestlings-raw-hits-a-ratings-high/.
Shore's Slant: The post also notes that Raw was only beaten in all of TV by the Gordan Ramsey powerhouses "Hell's Kitchen" and "Master Chef." That's pretty good company to keep. Now the question remains, did they do enough to pull big numbers again next week?
