Jul 23, 2012 - 12:53 PM |

McMahon noted that doing so "keeps your audience tuned into the broadcast for the entire three hours" and keeps them distracted from changing channels.
Stephanie also spoke about the desire for good creative work. "What our audience wants is great creative; it's what any audience wants," she said. Powell's POV: The strategy regarding social media may sounds a little cold giving the "distraction" term that Variety used based on Stephanie's comments, but it's logical. It's just another way to hook viewers and keep them engaged. As for creative, they're going to be tested more than ever with the three-hour format going forward.
