Dot Net correspondent explains when Shawn Michaels was injured
Sep 1, 2008 - 10:53 PM

Dot Net reader Adam Dunn attended the Raw taping and sent the following note regarding Shawn Micahels torn triceps. "That spot where HBK lunged through the ropes was the spot he injured himself. When he got back in the ring and punched Lance Cade, he looked back at Chris Jericho and if you check out his body language he was hunched over.

"I think Shawn saw when the show ended and stopped filming cause he immediately went to his arm after looking back at Jericho. He did his best to mask the pain. To cover it, he dragged Cade back out over the rope and kicked him in the face two more times. He walked to the back obviously favoring his arm. But yeah, he covered it the best he could."

Powell's POV: Michaels did a good job of not selling the injury while the cameras were still rolling. He's actually lucky he didn't suffer a more serious injury, as he appeared to land awkwardly on his head and neck when he tumbled to ringside.
