WWE News
Ric Flair and Mick Foley appearing on a WWE program next month, Dirt Sheet Awesomeness, WWE appealing court decision
Aug 30, 2008 - 03:17 AM

-WWE.com is advertising that a new Legends Roundtable with Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Jim Ross, and Tazz will air in September on WWE 24/7. The show was taped roughly a month ago.

-The latest edition of "The Dirt Sheet" with John Morrison and The Miz is a keeper. Cryme Tyme took a shot at them during their online show, so Morrison and Miz respond with their own rap video. You'll find it in the video originals section at WWE.com.

-WWE issued a statement to announce that they are appealing the Connecticut State Court's decision to dismiss their claims of bribery and anti-trust against Jakks Pacific. "The decision today from Connecticut State Court says that the prior federal court decision in this matter precludes the Connecticut court from allowing WWE to present our case on the merits," reads a statement posted on the WWE website. "We believe the federal court decision was wrong, and we are taking steps to have it corrected on appeal."

Powell's POV: Well, at least a couple of the legends from the roundtable show are still with the company. If you've never seen one of the legends shows, it's worth the 24/7 subscription price alone. Highly entertaining.

WWE's decision to appeal didn't hurt Jakks Pacific's stock, which reportedly increased by seven percent following the court's decision to dismiss WWE's claims.
