8/26 ECW taping in Pittsburgh, Pa. Full results of next Tuesday's show
Aug 27, 2008 - 12:51 AM

ECW on Sci-Fi Taping
Pittsburgh, Pa. at Mellon Arena
Thanks to Dot Net reader Ben Hough

The show opened with The Dirt Sheet. A pretty good segment. All the wrestlers that will be in the ECW Championship Scramble came out and it ended in a brawl, which led Teddy Long to make an eight-man tag for the main event.

1. Super Crazy beat Gavin Spears. No crowd heat at all for this match. No one cared.

2. Ricky Ortiz beat Ryan Braddock. Again, the crowd was not into either wrestler and a pretty audible boring chant broke out. There were some fans in the front with the Ricky O towels, but the crowd was completely silent for the match. Ortiz won with the Big O.

3. Matt Hardy and Finlay and Evan Bourne and Tommy Dreamer beat Mark Henry and The Miz and John Morrison and Chavo Guerrero in an eight-man tag. The crowd finally woke up for this match. Matt Hardy was the most over of anyone in the match. I also must say that Mark Henry got a lot of heel heat. Henry has really stepped it up in the last few months. The finish came after all the faces did splashes on Henry.
