John Cena battling a neck injury
Aug 25, 2008 - 05:49 PM |
John Cena is nursing a serious neck injury that is causing numbness in one of his arms, according to the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider websites. He had an MRI on Saturday before the New York house show and told people his neck is "f---ed up badly," according to the Observer. He is not advertised as working tonight on Raw, but he is still listed for the WWE Unforgiven main event.
Powell's POV: No word yet on whether Cena will be taking time off to treat the injury or if surgery is needed. This probably explains why his singles match with Chris Jericho that was scheduled for MSG was turned into a tag match on the day of the show.
