WWE News: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena headlined Extreme Rules preliminary pay-per-view numbers are in
May 24, 2012 - 09:31 AM |
WWE announced that the preliminary numbers project April's Extreme Rules to have sold 251,000 buys.
Powell's POV: The 2011 version of Extreme Rules did 209,000 buys. If the preliminary number holds, then the show headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena was worth only 42,000 more buys than the 2011 show that featured John Cena vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison a Triple Threat cage match main event. Ouch.
