C.M. Punk is featured in a WWE website interview that followed his Over The Limit victory over Daniel Bryan. Punk was asked about tapping out to Bryan moments after the match concluded. "I did tap," Punk said. "I tapped after I pinned him. Do you know how many times I tap out in a day? Do you know how many times I tap out in a week? There's no shame in tapping out.

"I'd rather tap out and live to fight another day when it counts, when it matters, when this title on the line. He was going to take my arm off before I tap. After I pinned him, I'll tap. There's no shame in that. He's a submission artist. He makes people hurt in places they didn't realize they had places." Powell's POV: This is a hell of an in-character promo from Punk. He put over Daniel Bryan in a big way and I love the way he emphasized that there's no shame in tapping out. The only thing I would have changed is adding that he's tapping out in sparring sessions just to make it clear to younger fans what he was referring to. Here's hoping we get a version of this on Raw tonight or in the weeks ahead. Punk also did a hell of a job of putting over the value of the WWE Championship by talking about why Bryan was so frustrated after losing the match.
