Linda McMahon facing questions as to whether she traded WrestleMania tickets for a political endorsement

Linda McMahon rival Christopher Shays's campaign is questioning whether she received a campaign endorsement from the Republican Town Committee Chairman John Slater in exchange for WrestleMania 28 tickets. "I find it interesting that John Slater went to WrestleMania in Miami, and soon after he returned came out and endorsed Linda McMahon," a Shays campaign spokesperson told GreenwichTime.com.
Slater denies the allegation. "If they're insinuating a bribe, which I can prove never happened, that's totally wrong," Slater responded. "If that's the road that his campaign is now taking, it shows another reason why not to vote for him, because it's a lie." Powell's POV: The McMahon campaign also denied any wrongdoing and condemned the Shays campaign. In related news, political parties take note - my endorsement can be had in exchange for the following: Vikings tickets, Stanley Cup tickets, the right concert tickets, good Vegas show tickets, big UFC fight tickets, Sea World tickets, amusement park tickets, The Dark Knight Rises tickets, Lingerie Football League tickets, Cat Fashion Show tickets... Oh, hell, I'll accept anything other than parking tickets, speeding tickets, or political fundraiser tickets.
