Chris Jericho hosting a new television show
Aug 13, 2008 - 04:30 PM |
Chris Jericho has signed on to host a the new original series "Shame 2 Fame," which will air on the Fuse network. The series will follow ten aspiring female singers as they compete for a record deal and their own music video, which will also air on the network.
"Many people know Chris Jericho as a WWE legend but he is also a musician and the lead singer of his own band Fozzy,” said Matt Farber of Fuse in a press release. “Chris is someone who has worked hard to get to where he is today, and that experience makes him a valuable resource and mentor for these women vying for a chance at stardom.” The series premiers on Oct. 29 at 11 p.m. (ET). To read more about the program, visit Fuse.TV. [Thanks to Jason Fach of JerichoPage.cjb.net]
Powell's POV: This seems like a nice fit for Jericho. He's obviously a good talker and he's passionate about music. Solid casting. I assume Jericho will take some time away from his WWE schedule to film the show, but nothing is official.
