WWE News: The Rock hypes WrestleMania 28 on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, shoots down a rumor
Mar 15, 2012 - 12:21 PM

Dot Net reader Justin Lopez sent the following recap of The Rock's appearance on the Ryan Seacrest radio show on KISS-FM in Los Angles, Calif.

They talked about his new home he bought in Miami. Then Seacrest said he (The Rock) should perform on American Idol and they played a clip of Rock singing this past Monday on Raw. Seacrest mentioned it was  intended for  John Cena and they talked about it a little bit.

They started to talk about WrestleMania 28, and then Seacrest asked him since its on April 1 if he sure it's not an April Fools joke. The Rock laughed and assured him that it is no joke. Rock gave a gift to Seacrest and his co-host - replica WWE World Championship belts with their names on it.

Seacrest plugged WrestleMania 28 one more time and thanked the Rock for calling in. It was about a five minute interview, but they did a good job of plugging WrestleMania 28. You can listen to the full interview at kiisfm.com/cc-common/podcast/single_page.html?podcast=onair .

Powell's POV: No Brian Dunkleman run-in? Weak. Rock also cleared up a rumor that Vanilla Ice is doing the interior decorating of Rock's new home for a reality show. Rock said he doesn't know where that story came from. He said the idea of his concert was to put on a great show. "I had a blast," Rock said. He also said they broke a one-day ticket sale with over 50,000 tickets sold.
