The following matches have been announced for the Aug. 17 SummerSlam pay-per-view.

-Undertaker vs. Edge in a Hell in a Cell match.

-John Cena vs. Batista.

-C.M. Punk vs. JBL for the World Hvt. Championship.

-Triple H vs. Great Khali for the WWE Title.

-Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy for the ECW Title.

-Kofi Kingston and Mickie James vs. Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix in a winners take all match for the Intercontinental Title and the WWE Women's Title.

-MVP vs. Jeff Hardy.

-Shawn Michaels makes an announcement regarding his WWE future.

Powell's POV: It's about time they get MVP and Jeff Hardy back in the pay-per-view mix. Hardy is one of the most over performers in the company, and I'm really looking forward to a long-term feud between him and MVP. The card is shaping up nicely. However, the addition of Hardy vs. MVP is means there are three matches I'm looking forward to more than the two World Title matches.
