Powell's POV: I didn't find anything on Roode's new Twitter page that would indicate that he reached out to Rock first, so it appears that Rock simply took a moment out to praise the TNA Champion. A cool move by Rock, who has yet to respond to John Cena more or less accusing him of being homophobic in a previous tweet.
