WWE Smackdown rating: A bad number despite two advertised title matches
Jan 9, 2012 - 04:55 PM |
Friday's WWE Smackdown television show drew a 1.8 rating, down from the 1.92 rating the show produced the week before. The show averaged roughly 2.579 million viewers.
Powell's POV: WWE has to be disappointed with the rating, as it was the lowest mark the show has drawn (replays of Tuesday live shows excluded) since September 16. WWE did a good job of hyping Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show, and Cody Rhodes vs. Booker T title matches going into the show.
