11/7 WWE Raw taping: Ongoing coverage of the taping for tonight's television show (spoilers)
Nov 7, 2011 - 02:57 PM

Dot Net readers Alex Gordon attended the WWE Raw taping in Liverpool, England and sent the following report on the taping for tonight's television show.

John Cena came out to open the show and talked about The Rock returning next week. He said tonight should be special because its Liverpool's first taping. The Miz and R-Truth interrupted and talked about how they will beat Cena at Survivor Series and tonight in a tag match. Cena said his partner is a future Hall of Famer. Miz and Truth rushed the ring and Zack Ryder made the save.

1. John Morrison beat Dolph Ziggler in a non title match.

2. Mason Ryan beat JTG.

Zack ryder had a brief exchange with The bellas backstage.

3. Alberto Del Rio beat Kofi Kingston with the cross arm breaker. Ricardo Rodriguez introduced Del Rio. After the match, Del Rio put the arm breaker back on Kofi, which brought out C.M. Punk to a massive pop.

Standard back and forth exchange between Del Rio and Punk. Del Rio bought some cheap heat and called Punk a coward. They traded insults for a while and Del Rio asked Punk to cancel their match at Survivor Series. Punk said no and the two started to brawl, which resulted in Ricardo eating yet another GTS.

4. Jack Swagger beat Santino Marella. Swagger won with the ankle lock.

Jerry Lawler was in the ring and introduced Kelly Kelly and plugged her Maxim front cover. Kelly started talking about how she's always trying to be better. Beth Phoenix's music hit and her and Natalya came out and did their usual Barbie Doll schtick. They asked Kelly to cry. Eve and Alicia Fox hit the ring and the heels cleared out. Eve and Alicia unveiled the Maxim cover.

John Laurinaitis hit the stage and introduced Kevin Nash. The old NWO theme hit and Nash walked to the ring. Nash talked about how he should have buried Hunter back in '95 but because of Shawn Michaels he allowed him into The Kliq. Nash said Hunter would be nothing without him and complained about his legends contract. He said he could be world champion. Nash said he showed everyone how to play the game. Cue his music and he exited.

Laurinaitis and David Otunga were walking backstage. Punk interrupted them said he would be champion and began to fight with Otunga, only to be jumped by Del Rio.

5. The Miz and R-Truth beat John Cena and Zack Ryder. Good TV main event. Awesome Truth picked up the victory when Miz pinned Cena, and Truth held his legs down. This concluded the TV taping.

Dark Match

1. The Miz beat John Cena in identical fashion from the tag match. Dolph Ziggler came out and the three heels beat down Ryder and Cena. Punk ran out to even the odds and Ziggler took a beatdown. Punk and Cena took turns hoisting Ziggler up to cheers and boos respectively about 10 times. Funny stuff. Ziggler then ate a Rough Ryder, and Punk hit the Attitude Adjustment to an ironic cheer on Ziggler.
